This is the blog for BuildaBridge Arts for Hope project with the Salish and Kootenai in Montana August 4-15, 2009. The experience combines Artists on Call and Eastern University students in collaborative project with local artists.
The Montana Project is a ten year relationships with the Salish and Kootenai Nations that engages art with kids. The August project will be an arts camp in which visiting artists and local artists collaborate in the one week arts camp. Graduate students from the MA in Urban Studies program and the Arts in Transformation Concentration are participating as part of program requirements in a course call Culture and Community Contexts.
